Scope intervention study (SIS)

Scope intervention study (SIS)

No one will dispute the importance of patient safety in healthcare. For a number of years now, patient safety management has been a spearhead policy of the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport, the inspectorate and insurers. A key theme of patient safety management is safety culture. Research has shown that having a constructive and safe culture is important for the successful implementation of safety initiatives. In primary care, little research has been conducted to date into the effectiveness of interventions to improve this culture. In our study, we want to study the effectiveness of two interventions - a stand-alone questionnaire and a questionnaire integrated into a workshop - in general practices.
