This is the privacy statement for the website of the University Medical Center Utrecht (UMC Utrecht). UMC Utrecht only uses personal information that you enter by way of our website, such as your name or address, for the purpose for which you provide them. This can be a registration for a meeting or subscription to a newsletter. UMC Utrecht will never use your data for other purposes and they will never be disclosed to persons outside UMC Utrecht, unless with your permission. We will not keep your data longer than necessary. UMC Utrecht staff handle all data that patients provide through My UMC Utrecht confidentially. Physicians, nursing staff and other staff of the UMC Utrecht are bound by a duty of professional confidentiality. They are only allowed to provide information about you to other parties with your prior consent. Those involved in your treatment are entitled to request and exchange data among themselves, but only to the extent necessary for your treatment.
The eConsultations are kept in your medical dossier. All healthcare professionals directly involved in your treatment are entitled to access the data in your dossier, in so far as they need them to do their work. That means they also have access to the eConsultations.
Webinar
UMC Utrecht organizes webinars to share knowledge of and experience with care and research with interested parties.
We organize these together with OnlineSeminar B.V., which has its registered office in Amsterdam, Rietlandpark 301, 1019 DW.
For participation in a webinar, UMC Utrecht requests interested parties' first name, last name, email address and gender. We share these data with OnlineSeminar, so that potential users can use the site on which the webinar is broadcast. This site is owned by OnlineSeminar.OnlineSeminar uses the above-mentioned data to send up to four email messages: the invitation, a confirmation, a reminder, and an agenda invitation.
UMC Utrecht has agreed with OnlineSeminar that these data will remain the property of UMC Utrecht. UMC Utrecht uses the data to email potential participants information about a next webinar. You can always submit a request to access or delete your data by sending an email to info@umcutrecht.nl
