Job vacancies

The Utrecht General Practice Training Institute sets great store by well-organized and expert education, with a view to training good general practitioners.

Our organization has some 75 employees who together ensure that postgraduate students are trained to become professional general practitioners. The team of lecturers of the institute consists of general practitioners and behavioral scientists. The general practitioner-lecturers and psychologist-lecturers (behavioral scientists) are also general practitioners themselves, working in a general practice or as primary care psychologist.

Complaints and emergencies

A postgraduate student, trainer, internship trainer or lecturer may be confronted with an incident, complaint or emergency in the practice. The head of the department must be informed of any such complaint or emergency.

The substantive and emotional aspects of an incident or emergency are part of the discussions between the postgraduate student, trainers, internship trainers and lecturers.

The complaints regulation of the Royal Dutch Medical Association provides an overview of the most common legal procedures in the different relationship a physician has as part of their profession.
